Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the supply, delivery, and installation of She Bins, as well as the provision of hygiene services, across the Bloemfontein and Cape Corridors for a period of 36 months (3 years). The aim is to enhance hygiene standards and waste management within the specified corridors through a partnership with a qualified service provider.

Scope

The scope includes:

• Supply, delivery, and installation of She Bins at designated locations within Bloemfontein and Cape Corridors.
• Provision of comprehensive hygiene services, including waste collection, disposal, and related maintenance activities.
• Implementation of environmental considerations such as waste recycling, energy conservation, and waste disposal policies.
• Engagement across multiple depots and locations, specifically including Postmasburg, Upington, De Aar, Lime Acres, Kimberley, and Bloemfontein (Wagons and Locos).

Technical Requirements

• Provision of She Bins that meet specified quality and durability standards.
• Installation of She Bins at designated sites with proper anchoring and safety measures.
• Delivery of hygiene services adhering to health and safety standards, including waste collection, handling, and disposal.
• Compliance with environmental policies related to waste management, recycling, and energy efficiency.
• Adherence to safety, health, and occupational standards, including obtaining necessary security clearances.
• Provision of detailed service methodology, including scheduling, logistics, and hazard management.

Skills and Competency Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Experience in waste management, hygiene services, and installation of waste bins.
• Capability to deliver and install She Bins at multiple locations within tight schedules.
• Proven track record of providing hygiene services in similar operational environments.
• Knowledge of environmental policies and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage logistics, supply chain, and hazardous waste handling efficiently.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations, including security clearance where applicable.
• Technical expertise in waste disposal, recycling, and energy conservation practices.

Additionally, bidders must provide evidence of relevant certifications, references, and experience to substantiate their capacity to meet the technical and skills requirements outlined above.
