Objectives

The primary objective of this tender is to procure services for the repairs and maintenance of the Dan Village Reservoir. The work includes supply, delivery, and installation of fencing, gates, and related activities to ensure the security and integrity of the reservoir area. The project aims to enhance the safety, security, and operational efficiency of the reservoir infrastructure in accordance with specified standards.

Scope

The scope of work encompasses the following activities:

• Supply, delivery, and installation of a 4.5-meter palisade fence with razor wire on top.
• Supply, delivery, and installation of concrete palisade poles.
• Removal of tree logs on the fence and cutting of three trees adjacent to the fence.
• Supply, delivery, and installation of a 5.5 x 2-meter security gate with Y-shape and razor wire on top.
• Debushing of the area inside and outside the fence (approximately 8.9 square meters).

The activities are to be completed within a specified timeframe, with the expectation of full compliance with the project specifications.

Technical Requirements

The technical requirements for the tender include:

• All quotations must be submitted on official company letterheads and include a CSD report, certified ID copies of directors, business registration certificates issued by CIPC, and valid tax clearance certificates with PIN.
• All schedules and documentation must be fully completed and signed.
• Delivery of all goods and services must occur within 14 days of receipt of the order.
• Quotations must be fully compliant with the specifications provided.
• The pricing must be valid for at least 30 days from the date of submission.
• Preference points will be awarded based on price (80 points) and specific goal achievements (20 points), including ownership by black persons, women, youth, persons with disabilities, and residents of rural areas, verified through appropriate documentation.
• Bid evaluation will consider compliance with specifications, preference points, and the ability to deliver within the stipulated timeframe.
• All bids must include a declaration of interest and a certificate of independent bid determination to prevent collusive practices.
